DESCRIPTION:On a late summer evening\, we will gather at the Perdu bookshop
	 to conclude the\nTransatlantic Voices workshop series with an intimate co
	llective reading by the\nparticipants. Everyone will share pieces and poem
	s developed over the course of\nthe workshop.\n\nOver the past eight weeks
	\, we have gathered to explore the poetics of five Latin\nAmerican women a
	uthors: Blanca Varela (Peru)\, Angélica Freitas (Brasil)\, Marosa\ndi Giro
	gio (Uruguay)\, María Paz Guerrero (Colombia)\, and Mikaes Sanchez\n(Mexic
	o). Inspired by their words\, each participant wrote poems in response.\nD
	uring our sessions\, we shared and dissected our writing\, delved into the
	 work\nof the authors we explored and created space for collective reflect
	ion\,\ndialogue\, and poetic experimentation.\n\nWith readings by: Eva Lia
