Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut begins with a mar riage and slowly turns it into a mystery. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman pla y Bill and Alice Harford, a wealthy New York couple whose comfortable rela tionship is disturbed when Alice admits that she once fantasised about lea ving Bill for another man. Nothing actually happened, but for Bill the tho ught is enough.
