	t Kriterion.\nThere\, she learned about the forgotten resistance history o
	f the female students\nwho were at the cradle of this student cinema in Am
	sterdam. She wrote her\nMaster’s thesis on these Kriterion Girls\, but eve
	n after finishing her studies\nshe wasn’t done writing. During Brain Bites
	\, we will talk with her about the\nresearch that resulted in the Dutch bo
	ok De Kriterionmeisjes (2025).\n\nWhile much has been written about the ro
	le of men in the resistance\, Boogaard\ndiscovered that the role these wom
	en played had fallen into oblivion. In her\nresearch\, she not only brings
	 these forgotten personal histories back to light\,\nbut also explores the
	 question of why we are unfamiliar with so many women’s\nhistories.\n\n\nP
