DESCRIPTION:Join us for the book launch on 23 May at 17:00 to celebrate the
\nmore-than-fifteen-year history of Framer Framed and the publication of N
	otes to\nOther Futures\n[https://framerframed.nl/store/product/pre-order-n
	otes-to-other-futures-fifteen-years-of-framer-framed/]!\nFeaturing histori
an and curator Mirjam Shatanawi in conversation with founders\nand co-dire
ctors Josien Pieterse and Cas Bool.\n\nMarking more than fifteen years of
Framer Framed\, we take the opportunity to\npresent our new publication: N
otes to Other Futures: Fifteen Years of Framer\nFramed\n[https://framerfra
	med.nl/store/product/pre-order-notes-to-other-futures-fifteen-years-of-fra
mer-framed/].\nThis anthology explores the ongoing development of alternat
ive practices at\nFramer Framed and the continuous engagement in radical p
	edagogy\, community\norganising and collaborative exhibition-making – re-e
xamining history from a\nmultiplicity of perspectives.\n\nIn the last fift
een years\, long-standing norms such as the autonomy of art\, the\nneutral
ity of exhibition spaces\, and the hegemony of Western art history have\nb
een increasingly questioned. This has been sparked by protest movements\,
shifts\nin academic discourse\, and the amplified voices of communities lo
ng excluded\nfrom cultural institutions. In response\, artistic and curato
rial approaches have\nemerged that foreground relationality and re-examine
	 history from a multiplicity\nof perspectives.\n\nNotes to Other Futures (
2026) reflects a commitment to work towards possible\nfutures: ones imagin
ed collectively\, embedded in solidarity and open to\ntransformation. It e
xplores the ways of working\, remembering\, and acting that\nshape the con
tinuous learning and becoming of a cultural organisation firmly\nrooted in
society.\n\nIn the spirit of this approach\, we’ve invited old friends\,
long-time\ncollaborators\, admired peers and future friends to share their
own books and\npublishing practices. Throughout the day\, you can visit t
he stands of each\npublisher\, enjoy food and drinks provided by The Migra

	de Keukentje\n[https://framerframed.nl/mensen/the-little-red-kitchen/]\, a
nd join for the book\npresentation and anniversary party.\n\nThis presenta

ir support over the years. We hope to welcome you to Framer Framed again\n
