DESCRIPTION:Through both time in the studio and time on the road\, Jamie Ro
	berts has\ndedicated over a decade to developing his alias\, Blawan. In th
	e process\, he’s\ncreated a universe that’s all his own. Roberts grew up i
	n Barnsley\, UK and from\nan early age was etching out his musical path as
	 a drummer – a relic of the past\nwhich should come as no surprise to anyo
	ne familiar with his productions.\nIndeed\, his discography as Blawan illu
	minates a natural fluency for rhythm\,\nwhether straight\, stridently sync
	opated\, or swinging somewhere in between. In\n2021\, Blawan debuted on XL
	 Recordings with an EP titled\, Woke Up Right Handed.\n\nUpon release\, th
	e record caused ripples of excitement in the world of\nexperimental club m
	usic\, going on to become a bonafide phenomenon and appearing\nin ‘Best Of
	 2021’ lists in RA\, Crack Magazine\, The Quietus\, and more. Resident\nAd
	visor said of it “Every Blawan record in recent memory has been eye-openin
