ice\,\nelectronics\, trombone)\n\nUsing the trombone and voice\, they mano
euvrer a balance between fragility\,\nintimacy\, the ecstatic and measured
control. They share a common sense of pulse\nand an inherent understandin
g of the way they each aurally manage and let go of\nevery consecutive mom
ent. The lungs release through to mouths to bell\, back and\nforth like a
tactile breathing exchange. Since beginning their collaboration in\n2015\,
Nørstebø and Chen have been extensively touring the globe\; in Europe\, N
	ew\nZealand\, Argentina\, Brazil\, and the USA.\n\nAudrey Chen is a Chines
e-American musician born outside of Chicago in 1976. She\nturned to the ce
llo at age 8 and voice at 11. After years of classical and\nconservatory t
raining in both instruments\, with a resulting specialization in\nearly an
	d new music\; now\, using the voice and cello\, Chen’s work delves deeply\
ninto her own version of narrative and non-linear storytelling.\n\nHenrik
Munkeby Nørstebø (born 1986 in Trondheim\, Norway) is a trombonist working
\nmostly within contemporary fields of music. An ambiguous relationship wi
th the\ntrombone has led him to explore both the boisterous and brassy sid
e of the\ninstrument\, as well as its counterpoint in microscopic and ‘ele
ctronic’ sound\npossibilities. Utilizing a wide spectrum of playing techni
ques\, from pure long\ntones to noise and the almost inaudible\, he often
works balancing the intuitive\nwith the precisely constructed.\n\nhttps://

Canadian multi-instrumentalist and composer Marielle Groven\nperforms on
