DESCRIPTION:VOX-POP presents: ArtiShock. Each month\, we explore a differen
	t art form through\na hands-on workshop\, from DJing to lino cutting. This
	 edition is all about\nreusing materials\, experimenting with style and ex
	pressing identity. How can you\ncombine existing materials and cultural in
	fluences to make something of your\nown?\n\nMake it your own:\nA piece of 
	music\, a clothing style\, an image that stays with you: the things you\nl
	ove and identify with often come from different sources. You borrow an ele
	ment\,\ngive it a twist and combine it with something else. In the process
	\, you make it\nyour own. In this ArtiShock workshop\, we’ll turn that pro
	cess into a creative\npractice. Starting with existing materials\, you’ll 
	experiment with reuse and\n‘sampling’: taking elements from different sour
	ces and bringing them together in\na new way. What will you keep\, what wi
	ll you change\, and what unexpected\ncombinations might emerge?\nPart of F

	ition and programme\ncurated by student-resident Lola Abbas at VOX-POP. It
	 explores how young people\ndraw on cultural influences to shape and expre

	ognition and belonging\, as well as\nmaterial to experiment with. This wor
