DESCRIPTION:Tenor Jason Li and pianist Isaac Lam\, a Hong Kong duo based in
	 Amsterdam\,\npresent an evening celebrating the richness and diversity of
	 the art song\nrepertoire. Their programme opens with Robert Schumann's Di
	chterliebe\, one of\nthe most beloved song cycles in the German Lied tradi
	tion\, followed by Maurice\nRavel's Histoires Naturelles and selected song
	s by Florence Price and Charles\nIves.\n\nJason Li is currently completing
	 his Master's degree in Classical Voice at the\nConservatorium van Amsterd
	am\, where he studies with Sasja Hunnego. Before moving\nto the Netherland
	s\, he performed extensively in Hong Kong\, appearing as the\ntenor solois
	t in Meine Hoffnung meine Freunde and I-solate with HK Singfest\, as\nwell
	 as taking operatic roles including Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni a
	nd\nDanilo in Lehár's The Merry Widow. His artistic interests centre on th
	e\nexpressive possibilities of song and opera\, bringing poetry and storyt
	elling to\nlife through performance.\n\nIsaac Lam is a répétiteur\, compos
	er\, and pianist based in Amsterdam. He is a\nfreelance répétiteur with th
	e Dutch National Opera Studio and an Associate\nRépétiteur at the Dutch Na
	tional Opera Academy. A graduate of the Conservatorium\nvan Amsterdam\, he
	 has recently worked on productions including Verdi's Simon\nBoccanegra\, 
	conducted Pergolesi's La serva padrona from the harpsichord\, and\nperform
	ed in the Kleine Zaal of the Concertgebouw. Alongside his work as a\ncolla
	borative pianist\, he holds a Master's degree in Composition from the Hong
	\nKong Academy for Performing Arts. His music has been performed by ensemb
	les\nincluding the Mivos Quartet and the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble.\n\n
