DESCRIPTION:INFO\n\nFor the first time in Europe\, in the voice of the icon
ic presenter who taught us\nhow to look at nature\, we will witness a spec
tacular natural phenomenon that has\nnot been seen in over a century on Eu
ropean soil.  \n\nWe will witness the sudden and untimely death of David A
ttenborough and travel\nwith him into his afterlife. David Attenborough wa
	s known to be a great nature\ndocumentary presenter. But on 45 occasions\,
he was the first person ever to say\nthe word ‘Europe’ in the deep forest
s of the world. This changed everything. Now\nin his afterlife\, he must c
ollect these ‘Europes’ back using a special device.  \n\nFor the first tim
e in Europe\, in this weird and spooky theatrical adventure we\ntravel wit
h the ghost of Attenborough into a moving forest full of fabulous folk\nst
ories and dance with strange creatures in a landscape that has been\nirrev
ersibly and unrecognisably transformed. \n\n\nBIOGRAPHY\n\nAgat Sharma (19
84\, Jaipur\, India) is an artist and theatre maker. His work\nprominently
features themes examining the emergence\, evolution and erasure of\nthe r
elationship between land and the body. Grounded in a research background\,
\nhe focuses on the root causes underlying contemporary climate and ecolog
ical\ncollapse. He works with an expanded understanding of what storytelli
ng can be\nand do\, deeply influenced by ‘folk’ and pre-modern theatre tra
ditions. His\ntheatre practice employs embodied research and participatory
tools to evoke\npostcolonial imaginings with wider audiences. Agat grew u
p in India and moved to\nAmsterdam to study at DAS Theatre. Agat is the fo
under of Intimidation Tactics\n(I_T)\, a post-critical theatre research ag
ency based in the Netherlands. \n\n\nCREDITS\n\nMaker: Agat Sharma \n\nCom
