	and mockumentary\, Damien Hauser’s inventive\nfilm explores memory\, filmm
	aking and our relationship with technology\, asking\nwhat remains distinct
	ly human in a world increasingly shaped by artificial\nintelligence.\nShot
	 in Kenya on a micro-budget\, the film combines live action\, green-screen
	\ntechniques and AI-generated imagery. Hauser took on multiple roles\, inc
	luding\nwriter\, director\, cinematographer\, editor and composer\, combin
	ing new digital\ntools with a handmade\, independent approach to filmmakin
	g.\nSince premiering in the Giornate degli Autori section of the 2025 Veni
	ce Film\nFestival\, Memory of Princess Mumbi has screened internationally 
	at festivals\nincluding Toronto\, BFI London\, Zurich\, Ghent and San Fran
	cisco. The film\nreceived the ZFF Critics Award at the Zurich Film Festiva
	l and the Golden Tulip\nfor Best Film at the Istanbul Film Festival.\nWe a
