DESCRIPTION:For the opening of A Soft Guide to Chill\, BBTCOR introduces tw
o artists who will\ncarve out their own sonic worlds within the Para-sitin
g space.\n\nElina Tapio crafts cerebral sets steeped in dark atmospheres a
nd psychedelic\nrhythms\, weaving mysticism and obscurity through her club
and listening\npractices. Approaching sound as a disembodied experience\,
her work explores the\nfluidity of performance\, contemplation of the unk
	nown\, and the sensual\npossibilities of the chill-out space.\n\nWyxxe wor
ks with a fixed set of hardware\, moving between IDM\, trance\, breaks and
\ndub in a sound that is always beat-driven but never strictly club-orient
	ed.\nCombining algorithmic thinking\, emotive machine-generated melodies a
nd field\nrecordings\, his live performances create an evolving space betw
een the synthetic\nand the organic.\n\nBBTCOR (Bring Back The Chill Out Ro
om) is an artistic and curatorial platform\nthat revives and reimagines th
	e culture of the 1990s chill-out room within\ncontemporary spaces.\n\nRath
er than focusing on the dance floor\, BBTCOR explores the spaces of rest\,
\nreflection\, intimacy\, and listening that historically existed alongsid
	e club\nculture. Through events\, radio broadcasts\, scenography\, researc
h\, and public\nprograms\, the project investigates how chill-out rooms fu
	nctioned as\nenvironments for recovery\, connection\, experimentation\, an
d alternative ways of\nexperiencing music.\n\nAt its core\, BBTCOR asks ho
w these spaces can be reinterpreted today through a\ncritical and inclusiv
e lens. The project combines musical programming (ambient\,\ndowntempo\, d
ub\, IDM\, psychedelic and experimental sounds) with archival\nresearch\,
	storytelling\, and artistic interventions
