DESCRIPTION:A Soft Guide to Chill: ADE\n\nDuring Amsterdam Dance Event A So
ft Guide to Chill invites numerous artists to\nactivate the Para-siting sp
ace.\n\nThe programme opens with LNR\, the DJ alias of El Bickers\, a UK-b
orn\,\nAmsterdam-based writer\, researcher\, and DJ whose practice bridges
archival\nresearch with the energy of the dance floor. Through deep inves
tigations into\nunderground music histories and 90s rave countercultures\,
LNR explores the\nconnections between past movements and contemporary ele
ctronic landscapes. Their\nsets draw from decades of musical experimentati
	on\, weaving together forgotten\nsounds\, countercultural histories\, and
the evolving language of the club.\n\nDuring Amsterdam Dance Event\, A Sof
t Guide to Chill invites Archetype to perform\nhis new album Nothing New U
nder The Sun\, a critical reflection on how\ncontemporary individual exper
iences—despite being more connected than ever—are\nincreasingly shaped by
	feelings of isolation\, anxiety\, and fragmentation.\n\nThe evening also f
eatures a live performance by Gizem Öz\, an Amsterdam-based\ncomposer\, so
und artist\, and contemporary artist working at the intersections of\nclub
and gallery\, ritual and technology\, emotion and abstraction.\n\nThe eve
ning closes with Sarah Saleh\, an interdisciplinary artist\, DJ\, and\nco-
founder of BBTCOR\, whose sonic practice explores the emotional and spatia
l\nqualities of electronic music. Through her research into the 1990s chil
	l-out\nroom\, she brings together ambient\, dub\, downtempo\, and psychede
	lic influences to\ncreate spaces for collective listening\, reflection\, a
nd connection.\n\nTogether\, Claartje Barkof and Sarah Saleh in collaborat
ion with El Bickers\ntranslate the research of A Soft Guide to Chill into
an immersive sonic journey\,\nrevisiting the chill-out room as a space for
	 memory\, experimentation\, and\ncommunal experience.\n\nGet your tickets

hill Out Room) is an artistic and curatorial platform\nthat revives and re
imagines the culture of the 1990s chill-out room within\ncontemporary spac
es.\n\nRather than focusing on the dance floor\, BBTCOR explores the space
s of rest\,\nreflection\, intimacy\, and listening that historically exist
ed alongside club\nculture. Through events\, radio broadcasts\, scenograph
	y\, research\, and public\nprograms\, the project investigates how chill-o
ut rooms functioned as\nenvironments for recovery\, connection\, experimen
	tation\, and alternative ways of\nexperiencing music.\n\nAt its core\, BBT
COR asks how these spaces can be reinterpreted today through a\ncritical a
nd inclusive lens. The project combines musical programming (ambient\,\ndo
	wntempo\, dub\, IDM\, psychedelic and experimental sounds) with archival\n
	research\, storytelling\, and artistic interventions
