Pieter Klomp is head of the Design Department within Space & Sustainability of the Municipality of Amsterdam. This department designs plans for urban develop ment and the layout of public space, and oversees (construction) initiativ es in the city. Previously, Pieter worked as a designer and project manage r on IJburg, the northern IJ waterfront, and the Zuidas.
